RegCure Scam?

Is RegCure the biggest scam in the industry?
Haha, well not quite. I hear this one a lot and always wonder where it originates from. There are probably 2 sources: 1) the competition and 2) users that didn’t use the product correctly.
Just remember, RegCure is a Registry cleaner and its primary purpose is to keep the Windows Registry clean and clutter free. Now as far as this goes, it does an awesome job, exactly as it says on the box. The side effects of this include improved performance and less crashing. RegCure also has a few other features such as a startup manager, which can help improve boot times and reduce CPU usage.
I have been using this and other Registry cleaners for the past few years. Most of the top products in this niche do an excellent job and there are even some completely free products such as CCleaner. By using a Registry cleaner, you will definitely improve performance and reduce errors. It won’t be as effective if you have just purchased a brand new computer. RegCure takes effect on machines that have been bogged down with clutter.
With regular usage of a Registry cleaner, you will keep your PC in good shape. Assuming that you don’t have Spyware or Malware, you will find that a clutter free Registry keeps your computer fast and responsive. If you have used a Registry cleaner without good results, then you should start checking for Spyware and Viruses. These can slow up your machine dramatically and you might not be aware that you are infected. Hardware conflicts might also be causing slowdown, or faulty hardware. Some applications are also very resource intensive and they can slow your PC to a halt. An application error can be fixed with RegCure, but a poorly written program that uses too much CPU can only be fixed by removing it.
I hope this helps to clear up some of the facts about Registry cleaners and RegCure. You really should try it for yourself, because there is nothing to lose, the download and scan is completely free.

What Does a Registry Cleaner Fix

So what does a Registry cleaner actually fix on your computer?
Well, unfortunately they don’t fix everything, but what they do is provide the maintenance that a PC needs and usually doesn’t get. Most of us are way too busy to start fiddling with our computers every week. I don’t know about you, but I hate cleaning out my computer and removing files, programs and optimizing and tweaking. I would rather just be playing games.
So this is where a Registry cleaner comes in handy. If you don’t want to spend hours each month keeping your computer up-to-date, then grab a Registry cleaner. It will remove invalid keys, clutter, Registry errors, application errors and plenty more.
You can fix a lot of faulting applications such as Internet Explorer, Media Player and Outlook Express. You can also fix .dll problems and .exe problems too. Overally a Registry cleaner will just keep your computer in top shape, so that it can actually run at the speed it was supposed to. If you load up your car with an extra two tonnes of weight, it won’t go anywhere either.
We have reviewed one of the leading Registry cleaners, and you can read the RegCure review here. Also keep an eye out for CCleaner and Registry Mechanic, all great software.
So do you actually need a Registry cleaner for your computer?
Well, the answer depends on how much you value PC performance and the current state of your computer. If your computer is brand new and still uncluttered, then you won’t need a Registry cleaner. However, it doesn’t take long for a computer to become loaded with junk and invalid Registry keys.
We have seen some computers start slowing down after only 1 month. This is usually due to an overload of unnecessary applications, Adware, toolbars and more. When this happens, the computer becomes very slow and the user immediately blames the hardware.
If you can keep your computer maintenance under control and do this on a regular basis, then you probably won’t need a Registry cleaner. But if you do get faulting applications or blue screen errors, well that is a different story. We like to keep a Registry cleaner on hand, not only to improve performance but to keep the machine free from errors and crashes. Also, the less errors, the less chance of security threats.
So unless you plan to spend a good amount of time each week on computer maintenance, then having a Registry cleaner is definitely recommended. You can set them to run on auto-pilot then you don’t need to worry about it. I would rather do that, instead of spending my own time debugging computer problems and deleting temp files.
There are many options available for Registry cleaning, check out our RegCure review for one of the leading products.
What is a Registry cleaner and why do you need one?
Well a Registry cleaner is a piece of software that cleans out the Windows Registry and removes clutter, invalid keys, corrupt keys etc. The Windows Registry is the control center for the Windows operating system and it is very difficult to manually edit. It is not recommended to touch anything in the Registry unless you are a qualified expert.
Due to this difficulty in maintenance, there was a need for Registry cleaner products and that is why there are so many on the market today. A good Registry cleaner will completely clean your entire Registry and in the process improve your PC performance quite a lot. Depending on the state of your computer, you might see up to 300% performance improvement.
The modern Registry cleaners don’t just clean the Registry. They also remove temp files, cookies, invalid fonts, shortcuts, remnants of Spyware and Adware and they can also manage your startup processes to improve boot time. Without adding any hardware, a good Registry cleaner is definitely recommended for boosting performance.
You also need to be careful, in our next post we will look at some of the dangers of Registry cleaners.
